Nalanda was an ancient Mahavihara, a large and revered Buddhist monastery, in the ancient kingdom of Magadha in India. The site is located about 95 kilometres southeast of Patna near the city of Bihar Sharif, and was a centre of learning from the fifth century CE to c. 1200 CE. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Bada Bagh

Bada Bagh, also called Barabagh (literally Big Garden) is a garden complex about 6 km north of Jaisalmer on the way to Ramgarh, in the state of Rajasthan in India. Overlooking a mango grove sits a set of royal cenotaphs, or chhatris, of Maharajas of Jaisalmer state, starting with Jait Singh III (d. 1528), built by the son of the Rawal jait singh III, maharawal Lunkaran singh. Later, with time 104, members of royal family graves and their chattries were built. He(maharawal lunkaran singh) also completed the construction of jait bandh, a dam project that was started by his father Rawal jait singh III, this dam stand useful till date for conservation of water.

Buddhist Rocks

Bojjannakonda and Lingalakonda are two Buddhist rock-cut caves on adjacent hillocks, situated near a village called Sankaram, which is a few kilometres away from Anakapalle, Vishakhapatnam in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The sites are believed to date between 4th and 9th Century A.D, when the Jainism (Hinayana, Mahayana, and Vajrayana) flourished at Sankaram (Sangharam as it was called then). The real name of Bojjannakonda was actually Buddina Konda but the people can't pronounce it properly by telling the name repeatedly so it was changed to Bojjannakonda

Junagah Buddhist Caves

Junagadh Buddhist Cave Groups are located in Junagadh district of the Indian state of Gujarat. The so-called "Buddhist Caves" are not actually caves, but three separate sites of rooms carved out of stone to be used as monks’ quarters. These caves were carved from Emperor Ashoka's period up to 1st-4th century AD .

Pushkar Lake

Pushkar Lake or Pushkar Sarovar is located in the town of Pushkar in Ajmer district of the Rajasthan state of western India. Pushkar Lake is a sacred lake of the Hindus. The Hindu scriptures describe it as "Tirtha-Guru" – the perceptor of pilgrimage sites related to a water-body and relate it to the mythology of the creator-god Brahma, whose most prominent temple stands in Pushkar. The Pushkar Lake finds mention on coins as early as the 4th century BC
